About Us

Why did TK Law Firm choose to open in Minami Aoyama?

Today, "Omotesando-Minami-Aoyama" can be driven side by side with "Ginza", one of the most luxurious and upscale areas in Japan.

The surrounding area of Aoyama presents a high-end cultural area with high-end consumption power but pursuing low-luxury brands. It is also a street that is constantly evolving in pursuit of excellence and fashion. While retaining the old traditional perfection, it combines the latest cutting-edge technology and fashion trends to guide the mainstream of Japan. The tree-lined avenue on Omotesando has various international luxury brands, each with its own European-style art and humanities building, just like being in various art theme museums. According to the different fashion concepts of each luxury brand, internationally renowned architectural designers from all over the world present their uncompromising perfect works.

Omotesando has become one of the international fashion pilgrimage streets, no less than Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, and even comparable to the Champs-Elysées in Paris, France.

Therefore, TK General Law Firm chose to open its business in the most cutting-edge fashion place that never stops evolving. It is consistent with the concept of Omotesando Street, and is constantly pursuing evolution with each passing day. The same as the concept of fashion trends, it requires itself to constantly amend laws in line with current affairs and update the latest legal knowledge, so that it can always provide customers with the latest regulations and advanced legal processes, and cooperate with the high-spending groups who choose to entrust TK General Law Firm, pursuing greater excellence, and only aiming for success, extraordinary clients like you.

The changes in the location of the Minami-Aoyama Office over the years [about 100 years ago] are as follows

Meiji Jingu Shrine was built in 1920 to commemorate Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. It is the shrine that attracts the most Japanese worshippers every year. A road leading to the shrine was opened from Meiji Jingu Bridge to Aoyama-dori intersection to coincide with the construction of Meiji Jingu Shrine. Betula trees were planted on both sides to create a tree-lined avenue (Namaki-michi), giving rise to the name "Omotesando".

When the 1964 Tokyo Olympics was held, Yoyogi Park was used as the main venue for the Olympic Games, and the National Yoyogi Gymnasium was built in the Olympic Athletes Village. Stadiums for Olympic-related events were also built in the surrounding area. The surrounding streets developed into a sports-themed street, and due to the international Olympic Games, it became well-known and became one of the internationally famous streets.

In the late 1970s, with the effect of the Olympic Games, the area continued to develop from "Harajuku ~ Omotesando" to become a base for young people who pursue technology, cutting-edge, avant-garde fashion trends, Western food and other trends. And from "Omotesando ~ Aoyama" to become a perfect and extraordinary mature people who pursue tranquility and comfort, low-key luxury, and high-end fashion. Minami-Aoyama Street can be quietly enjoyed by cutting-edge people who pursue quietness and comfort, low-key luxury, and high-end fashion.

The 2020 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games held at the New National Stadium will showcase Japan's booming economy and Tokyo's charm as a tourist city that attracts tourists from all over the world. 56 years after the first Olympic Games, Tokyo has once again won the right to host this sporting event. Tokyo will receive global attention, which will have a positive effect on Japan's long-term economic development, and thus further establish Minami-Aoyama's world status in terms of infrastructure.
